Over the course of her career Betsy has won a number of awards and honors for her work anchoring and reporting.
Betsy is an avid supporter of people with developmental disabilities and sits on numerous boards and committees that advocate and raise money for people with special needs. She also serves as a community liaison for dozens of non-profit organizations and charities.
She is married and has two young boys. When not volunteering for various community events you’ll find her spending time outdoors with her family or rooting in the stands at youth baseball games.
Betsy says, “I strongly believe that in order to make a difference you have to lovingly get involved. Kindness doesn’t have to be returned in order for you to share it.”
