Brianna Cook's television career began at ABC 6 News in 2009. She worked as a production assistant, intern and then a reporter. She then traveled to Omaha, NE, where she spent a year working as the morning reporter for WOWT-TV.
Now Brianna is "back home", having grown up in Minnesota. She earned a degree in Mass Communications while reporting, anchoring and producing for her college campus news station. She was also the managing editor of the student newspaper.
Brianna has been fortunate enough to cover several big news events in Minnesota including a presidential visit, and she's gone on several adventures like exploring caves and even flying an airplane. But her favorite stories to tell are the ones that directly impact the people of Southeast Minnesota.
When she's not on the anchor desk or in the field reporting, Brianna is usually spending time with her husband Bill and two kids, Aiden and Lucy. She also enjoys running (she's run a few half marathons) and volunteering for local organizations and events.
