(ABC 6 News) -- We are following a developing case out of Fillmore County after charges are filed against a former administrator from a local tourism group.
41-year-old Kristina Nolte was the former administrator for History Bluff Country Tourism group in Rushford, Mn. Nolte faces six theft and forgery charges accused of using organization funds on personal use.
She was the administrator from 2008- to 2011. According to court documents, during that time she made several transactions for personal use with the History Bluff Country accounts, writing herself several checks and using the groups credit card on personal items.
Documents show she more than five thousand dollars. In one instance, Nolte even took out a loan for $15,000, after drafting a loan application from a board meeting that never took place.
Documents say she used that loan money to pay back the money she owed the group account.
The treasurer at the time noticed inconsistencies with the groups finances and that's when she went to police. Police began an investigation shortly after Nolte was terminated from her job in November of 2011.
Nolte is expected back in court on Oct. 22.
