Limo Driver Shot in Chest During Attempted Carjacking in Mpls.

A limousine driver is hospitalized after being shot in the chest during an attempted carjacking in Minneapolis.
It happened around 10:45 p.m. Friday. According to police Sgt. William Palmer, the driver picked up two people from an undetermined location and drove to 27th Street and Second Ave. S., where the attempted carjacking took place.
The driver did not cooperate and was shot in the chest.
The driver was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center, where he was hospitalized Saturday. His injury is not thought to be life threatening.
No one is in custody.
