(ABC 6 News)- A man wanted for 13 felonies, was arrested in Owatonna Wednesday night. Olmsted County Deputies had announced they were searching for 32-year-old Aaron Anderson earlier the same day.

Officials say Anderson stole a mint condition vintage Corvette from a private collector in Owatonna. Steele County Deputies met up with him and started a lengthy pursuit.

Deputies were able to catch Anderson when he lost control of the car and crashed into a field. His girl friend was also in the car at the time and was uninjured.

Anderson will remain in custody at Steele County until these new charges are filed. Once those charges are finalized he will be transferred to Olmsted County.

Anderson had warrants for 13 felonies and several misdemeanors out of Olmsted County.

Those charges range from felony theft and burglary to domestic assault.
