(ABC 6 News)- Nearly a month and a half after hitting a motorcyclist with his car, Edward Golish of Spring Valley has been charged in Olmsted County Court.

On September 16th, Golish allegedly hit a motorcyclist in the intersection of County Road 140 and County Road 1 near Pleasant Grove township.

Officials say the accident happened when Golish pulled out in front of the motorcyclist.

After the accident Golish left the scene without helping the injured driver.

Olmsted County deputies later found Golish at his home in the 10,000 block of Cross Street where they arrested him and performed a field sobriety test.

Golish had a blood alcohol content of 0.33 at the time, but investigators decided to conduct a blood test to verify that amount.

The sample was sent to the BCA's office in the Twin Cities and came back earlier this week.

Golish is charged with Hit and Run causing Personal Injury, DWI, Fleeing the Scene of an Accident, and Criminal Vehicular Operation Causing Great Bodily Harm.
