WASHINGTON (AP) - Lawmakers are digging through emails, trying to determine if national security was threatened during former CIA director David Petraeus' extramarital affair with biographer Paula Broadwell.
Broadwell sent harassing emails to a woman she apparently saw as a romantic rival.
And officials say that woman, in turn, traded thousands of sometimes flirtatious messages with the top U.S. commander in Afghanistan, prompting the Pentagon to investigate him.
