Authorities in Anoka County say a Blaine woman was killed in a two-vehicle accident Saturday morning.

The crash happened around 8:45 a.m. at Viking Boulevard Northeast and Breezy Point Drive Northeast in East Bethel, the Anoka County Sheriff's Office says.

When deputies arrived, they found a 24-year-old woman dead inside her overturned vehicle in the south ditch of Viking Boulevard. There were no other passengers in her vehicle.

The 16-year-old driver and 46-year-old passenger of the second vehicle were taken to Mercy Hospital. Authorities did not provide details on their injuries.

The driver and passenger of the second vehicle told deputies they were westbound on Viking Boulevard when the oncoming vehicle was spinning out of control into their lane. The eastbound vehicle went into the south ditch and rolled after the collision.

Names of those involved have not been released.

The Anoka County Sheriff's Office, Minnesota State Patrol and Midwest Medical Examiner's Office are investigating the crash.
