A Lake Elmo woman is getting an early Christmas Miracle this year.
Diane Pine has breast cancer and is unable to work, and when her bathroom floor started to cave in she was unable to pay the $5,000 to make repairs on her fixed income.
A relative suggested calling the United Way of Washington County East, then one thing led to another, and for the last three weeks a crew has been out at her house fixing her bathroom floor.
The volunteers are construction students from St. Paul College. But they didn't just stop at her bathroom floor, they're also building her a porch and storage area.
