Noah Crooks Granted Change of Venue

(ABC 6 NEWS) -- The trial of a North Iowa teen accused of killing his mother will be moved out of Mitchell County.

A change of venue request has been granted by a judge in the case against 14-year-old Noah Crooks. His attorney made the request citing pre-trial publicity. A new location hasn't been determined.

 Investigators say Crooks shot his mother Gretchen at their home near Osage in March.
