(ABC 6 News) -- Meeting Matthew Weyers, you can see he is excited about teaching.
"When you got kids like these, teaching is fun and its easy," he says,"I like to think i'm fairly energetic, that goes off on the kids."
And teaching 6th grade students also means you have to speak their language.
"I think with the way kids work these days you could have the most boring assignment ever, but if you do it on a computer, they're like yeah," says Weyers.
But Weyers says his biggest goal is to get these kids ready for the real world.
"At some point, they're all going to enter the working world and I try to prepare them with whatever skills that I think they'll need to be productive members of society."
