(ABC 6 News) -- The parents of a little Iowa girl police believe was abducted and killed say their faith in god is stronger than ever.

Heather and Drew Collins talked with the media Thursday shortly before a memorial service for their daughter Elizabeth.

The 8-year-old and her 10-year-old cousin Lyric Cook disappeared 5 months ago today while riding their bikes in Evansdale.

Their bodies were found last week 25 miles from where they were last seen.

"We don't want to know how they were hurt. We don't need to know that we just know they're gone. We just don't want to have the memory of how they were taken from us," said Drew Collins, Elizabeth's Father.

Police have released little information since the girls bodies were found and haven't made any arrests. A memorial service for Lyric Cook is planned for after Christmas.
