(ABC 6 News) -- The Connecticut shooting has obviously brought up many conversations from gun control to society in itself.
People in the community are reacting to this horrifying news. Obviously many people are upset and some even fearful of the future.
Everywhere we went today people were glued to the TV watching the shooting unfold.
Most were simply horrified that someone would target innocent children. Others were saying, after two shootings in one week, something needs to change.
"We as a whole nation need to come together and address this," said Alfonso Nevarro.
One thing is for sure this tragic event definitely has everyone thinking about their own children and grandchildren.
"Enough is enough, I've two little granddaughters who are going to grow up in today's world and we don't want them to go through a situation where they have to encounter something like this," said Nevarro.
"Why children! They never do anything to anybody, if you got a bone to pick, not innocent people or children," said Steve Karabatsos.
