(ABC 6 News) -- There are a list of new laws going into effect Tuesday in Minnesota, including one that will impact your child's safety.
Every new school bus you see will soon have an extra safety feature. The law requires all new buses to have a crossing arm across the bumper.
It will automatically expand whenever the bus is stopped or the flashing red lights are in use.
Other new laws include changes to child care reimbursement for young mothers who are finishing school, and allowing insurance on electronic devices like phones and tablets to be sold separately.
