Horses Found in Poor Heath; One Dead

(ABC6 NEWS) - The Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office and The Freeborn County Humane Society are investigating another possible case of animal neglect in our area involving horses.

Officials arrived at a residence in rural Oakland and found three horses in poor health. 

They were removed from the farm and moved to a safe and undisclosed location.  

One of the horses has died since.  The case is still open and under investigation.
