MASON CITY, Iowa (AP) - The murder trial for the man accused of killing a 23-year-old northern Iowa man is set to begin on Monday.
The Mason City Globe Gazette reports (http://bit.ly/13rFfz2 ) James Farnsworth II of Waterloo is schedule to be tried in the April 14 slaying of Ian Decker.
Jury selection will begin Monday at 9 a.m. in Cerro Gordo County.
Police say Decker was found lying on the ground with a serious stab wound. He died later at Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa.
The 22-year-old Farnsworth is free on a $200,000 cash bond.
