(ABC 6 News) -- We have reports of several accidents where vehicles went through the ice over the weekend including a fatal accident, where three people died.
The first incident took place in northwest Sioux City, Iowa where a vehicle with five people overturned in a frigid creek.
Authorities say 21-year-old Torey Wickey, 23-year-old Dominque Nok and 24-year-old Matthew Dean all from Sioux City were pulled from the vehicle Sunday morning.
Two others did make it out okay. Police say alcohol and excessive speed may have been factors in the crash.
To our north, a Centerville woman was trapped in her car for 18 hours until a bicyclist found her on Saturday.
Authorities say 67-year-old Nancy Breberg was looking for a hotel in St. Louis Park when she veered off the road and landed in a pond.
She's currently on a breathing tube at Hennepin County Medical Center.
Doctors say she will not need skin graphs for her frostbitten feet.
We also learned what she did for those 18 hours as she was trying to escape, her husband says she prayed for help.
