No Serious Injuries Following Rochester Apartment Fire

(ABC 6 NEWS) -- Residents of a Rochester condominium are safe after a late night fire Monday, according to authorities.

Officials tell ABC 6 the fire started around 9 p.m. at Hunters Ridge condominiums.

Crews at the scene say no one was seriously hurt, however some residents were taken to St. Marys Hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation.

The fire was contained within an hour, and the cause is under investigation.

The American Red Cross was also on scene to assist around 12 people with temporary housing.

The estimated damage caused by the fire is $200,000.
