Minneapolis firefighters were called to the downtown Radisson Hotel on a report that water was pouring out of the front doors.

The call came in around 4:30 a.m. Friday.

Firefighters say water was gushing out of the decorative pillars and light fixtures when they arrived, and water was in both the lobby and entryway.

Officials believe that the fire suppression pump to the building burst, causing the flood.

Radisson employees had a daunting cleanup job to get all of the water outside the hotel, but they say the guest rooms were not affected.
