Hopkins Police arrested a woman for allegedly leaving two toddlers in a cold car while she drank at a bar Sunday night.
Hopkins police were called to Lindee's Saloon and Eatery when someone reported two young children were locked inside of a car and not wearing warm clothing.
Police say the children's aunt was caring for them and she had been inside allegedly drinking and left in a cab.
The children's parents were working at the time and were notified. The one and three year old children were turned over to another relative. They will be fine, according to police.
Fifty-five-year old Sarah Philbrick later returned to the bar and was arrested for child endangerment.
She is being held in the Hennepin County Adult Detention Center on two counts of gross misdemeanor endangerment of a child.
