(ABC 6 NEWS)-- More than 1,000 people made it out to Foster Arend Park in Rochester to brave the icy cold water. Plungers dressed up in all types of costumes to make the jump at the 12th Annual Rochester Polar Bear Plunge. They raised more than $200,000 for Special Olympics Minnesota. The money benefits more than 7,000 special Olympic athletes as they train and compete. Rochester is one of 16 communities to take part in this years Polar Bear Plunge.
