(ABC 6 News) -- It was three nights of ice drinks and ice games, but Social Ice came to an end Saturday night.

The ice slowly melted off the ice bars. The ice bars that for three nights, served those brave enough to venture out of their warm homes, with both cold and hot drinks.

"Hot wine, we had  a mold wine, hot cider wine, chocolate wine,” said Tiffany Hausner of Victoria’s.

The event invited the young and old to bundle up and make some fun out of all the ice.

"We tried to cater a little bit to the families. It was great to see the kids out with their families,” said Jon Buck, Manager at The Loop.

For The Loop, the first time participating, brought crowds to their ice bar and their restaurant.

"You know they changed some things up and where they put the bars and things like that this year. And it was great for outside and for people coming down to our restaurant to warm up,” said Buck.

Victoria’s theme, Vino Caliente, had a similar effect.

"All three night we were just jammed packed, probably a couple hours wait,” said Hausner.

Victoria’s ice bar serving 49 gallons of hot wine Saturday night.

"It was a lot of fun this year. I mean we had some contests and the wine turned out. It was a mad rush for a lot of things, but overall, it was a lot of fun,” said Hausner.

"Seeing everyone have a good time out there, all of Rochester pretty much coming out and supporting these things that the RDA puts on like Thursdays on First and Social Ice. So it was really great to see,” said Buck.

As this year’s ice melts away, restaurants and visitors will look forward to next year.
