(ABC 6 News) - Copper thieves have once again robbed a Verizon cell tower in northwest Rochester. The Olmsted County Sheriff's Department says nearly $3200 worth of copper cable was taken from the tower site, off of 55th Street NW, sometime in January.
They say this is the 2nd time the tower has been robbed in recent months. The copper from the original theft had only been replaced as of November.
No arrests have been made.
