(ABC 6 News) - Two Mason City residents were arrested early Friday morning after a traffic stop allegedly turned up a cache of drugs.

The Cerro Gordo Sheriff's Department says George Perry and Jennifer Haxton were pulled over at 1:40 am for failing to obey a stop sign.

Authorities say they found a large amount of methamphetamine in the car, along with other drugs and paraphernalia.

Haxton is charged with possession of meth, marijuana and psilocybin mushrooms. Perry was charged with "driving while barred."
