(ABC 6 News) - The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Department's Automatic License Plate Reader helped with another arrest over the weekend.

Authorities say a deputy was patrolling the 1400 block of 3rd Ave southeast when his A-L-P-R came up with a hit. It showed vehicle's owner had a warrant out for his arrest.

Brandon O’Reilly, of Rochester, was eventually arrested.

Also, the deputy allegedly found a significant amount of heroin inside the vehicle.

The A-L-P-R has now helped the Olmsted County Sheriff’s Department with several arrests.
