(ABC 6 News) - Rochester police say a 2 hour standoff ended as well as it could Monday afternoon. Police say a mom, who was concerned about her son, called police around 12:30 this afternoon.
They responded to a home at 14 11th Avenue Northeast. They say they found a man with psychological problems who also had a hunting rifle.
Rochester Police officers set up a perimeter, and eventually talked him out of the home peacefully. Authorities say he was willingly taken to the crisis receiving unit in Rochester and that no charges are pending.
