(ABC 6 NEWS) -- With Spring's arrival, so too is the threat for flooding. Some small creeks and low lying areas in southeast Minnesota inundated with water.
It's being caused by the still frozen ground, and melt that's taking place during the day.
Storm Tracker 6 Chief Meterologist Chris Kuball is calling for rain Saturday, with totals on average expected to be around ¼” which will push area rivers to bank full.
Friday evening, some rural roads in Mower, Dodge, Fillmore and Houston were closed due to high water.
The Storm Tracker 6 Weather Team will be monitoring river levels throughout the weekend.
