(ABC 6 News) - A local business is giving a young boy a big surprise... a free bow.

Coyote Creek Gun & Archery gave 8-year-old Marcus Stalter the gift. Three years ago Marcus was diagnosed with an acid based brain tumor. Doctors were able to remove around 90 percent of the tumor, but in December it had grown. Marcus went through a high intense radiation treatment in January and doctors are now monitoring the tumor.

Marcus can't play contact sports, but loves hunting and archery. Coyote Creek heard about his story and wanted to help.

"It's amazing to know that there's still very good people out there in the world," said Marcus' dad Marc. "For someone that we've never met, I talked to him once on the phone or twice on the cellphone and do this for Marcus... It's incredible."

Coyote Creek says it was just paying it forward.
