LUVERNE, Minn. (AP) - More than two dozen juveniles from a residential treatment center that lost power in an ice storm have been moved to a National Guard armory in southwestern Minnesota.

Sgt. First Class Shawn Kor said Thursday the 28 young people could be at the armory in Luverne for a couple days. The Pinnacle Programs treatment center in Magnolia is among customers who lost power in the storm. About one-third of the community of Worthington, 30 miles to the east, also lost power.

Seven treatment center staff members are also at the armory where the teens are doing school work, watching movies and playing games.

Gov. Mark Dayton called out the state National Guard to help residents of southern Minnesota deal with disruptions from the storm.
