(ABC 6 News) - The Rochester Police Department says along with the Tortilleria Jalisco Mexican Restaurant raid, there were at least five other search warrants executed by federal agencies Wednesday afternoon.
Were told two of the six search warrants were businesses and the other four were residences. There was also a possible search warrant executed at a storage locker.
According to Rochester police the IRS was the lead agency on the search warrants, but there were other federal agencies involved.
Captain Brian Winters said while it’s not uncommon for them to assist in federal search warrants, the number executed was.
“We receive regular requests from other agencies, but the volume of this one was significant,” said Captain Winters.
Rochester police only assisted in securing the location and did not take anyone into custody themselves.
