(ABC 6 NEWS) -- An Austin homeowner has a damaged vehicle, and hole in the roof of their home after a large part of a tree fell Wednesday evening.
Neighbors say they heard strong howling winds around the time the believe the tree fell. The large section hit both an SUV and the home, leaving a two foot hole in the roof.
Wind gusts in Austin last night topped 40 miles per hour, although there's been no direct connection between the weather and the tree falling.
We'll have the latest on the strong weather we saw last night, and what's expected over this weekend tonight on ABC 6 News at Five and Six.
