(ABC 6 NEWS) -- She's won a state title in tennis, and everyone knows about her prowess on the ice, but Katie Aney's a pretty good lacrosse player, too.

"Katie's a natural in just about anything she picks up, including her school work," Scott Swenson said. "She is by far a top-notch kid on our team."

Aney's seven goals in the team's first three games has the Panthers undefeated, and she says her experience in the other two sports really helps her on the lacrosse field.

"It's a lot of the same positioning on the field, in terms of where you want to be, and where the puck or ball is going to be next," Aney said. "And it's the same hand-eye coordination as tennis, so lacrosse comes pretty naturally."

"A lot of kids look up to her and follow her, and she's the last one to tell you how good she is at anything," Swenson said.

Century's perfect start is a good sign, but Aney says the Panthers aren't thinking playoffs just yet.

"We're definitely not trying to get ahead of ourselves. We're just taking it game by game, so we're just going to do what we can and see how far it'll take us," Aney said.
