City Councilman Randy Staver Declared Winner of President Seat

 (ABC 6 NEWS) -- The polls are now closed and Rochester has a new City Council President.

Current Interim President Randy Staver is officially the winner. Staver with more than 3,800 votes in Tuesday's election. His opponent Michael Wojcik who previously told ABC 6 that he was dropping out of the race, still gained just over 370 votes. Write-in candidates also received over 50 votes. These votes are not yet final at this point.

ABC 6 has a crew at the Eagles Club in Rochester where Staver and his campaign is celebrating tonight.
