(ABC 6 News) - The family of a missing Owatonna 14-year-old is asking for help in finding him.
14-year-old Blake Macpherson was last seen on Wednesday. His family admits he ran away, but they say he hasn't been on his "mental health" medication for nearly a week.
His grandmother says because he hasn't been on his medication "Blake is a danger to himself and anyone around him."
His mother said he also has a history of drug problems and most likely ran away because he believed he was being placed in a residential treatment facility.
His mother said his cell phone has been turned off and his Facebook page deleted. Although they are working with police and have already contacted Blake’s friends, his family said they are running out of options.
“I don’t know what else to do,” said Brynn Macpherson Wandrey, Blake’s mother. “My son could be laying in a gutter somewhere and I wouldn’t know.”
His mother said that because he is potentially dangerous, if you see Blake, do not approach him, simply call police as soon as possible.
