(ABC 6 News) - A Rochester man was sent to the hospital after he threatened to kill a bouncer at Kathy’s Pub early Thursday morning.
Abdi Rahman Moallin was taken to St. Marys for injuries sustained during the struggle.
Rochester Police say the altercation started around 2 a.m. after bouncers at the bar recognized Moallin, who was banned from the bar as part of the safe bar program.
The bouncer told him to leave, but police say that’s when Moallin pulled out a knife and told the bouncer he was going to kill him.
The bouncers wrestled Moallin to the ground and recovered the knife.
Moallin faces charges of 2nd degree assault and terroristic threats.
