Following a near record year in 2012, casino revenue in Iowa dropped more than $21 million dollars in the past fiscal year.
The 2013 revenue year ended in June and with that state wide drop, Diamond Jo Casino in Northwood also came up short compared to the year before.
Diamond Jo's shortfall ended up just over $1.5 million dollars in adjusted gross revenue, or 1.7% less then last year.
That rate was slightly more than the 1.5% drop across the board for all Iowa casinos.
State wide casino revenue totaled more than $1.4 billion dollars.
