Chatfield Woman Dies Following Wednesday Car Accident

(ABC 6 NEWS) - A sad update to report, 76-year-old Evelyn Fisher of Chatfield has died after a multi-car crash near highway 52 and I-90 in Marion.

Fisher of Chatfield had been in serious condition at the hospital. She was the passenger of the Dodge Caravan. The driver of that vehicle, 80-year-old William Fisher's condition has also changed. He's now in serious condition.

Just before noon Wednesday, the Caravan was traveling northbound on highway 52 and was turning left into a gas station when it collided with the second vehicle, a Chevrolet Tahoe, which was traveling southbound.

There were two other passengers in the Caravan, 15-year-old Christine Lind and 16-year-old Catherine Lind of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Both have non life threatening injuries.

The driver and passenger of the Tahoe were 18-year-old Deryck Forbes and 21-year-old Victoria Ulring, both of Chatfield. Forbes is listed as not receiving any injuries while Ulring has non life threatening injuries.
