34-Year-Old-Woman Dies in East Bethel Crash

A 34-year-old woman is dead after a crash in East Bethel around 10:50 a.m. Thursday.

According to the Anoka County Sheriff's Office, the crash also left a 32-year-old woman in critical condition and a 13-year-old girl hospitalized in stable condition. All of the victims are from East Bethel.

The crash occurred on Highway 65 at 181st Avenue Northeast. According to authorities, a Ford flatbed truck hauling a skid loader was headed southbound on Highway 65 when a Pontiac Grand Prix tried to cross directly into its path onto westbound 181st Avenue.

The Ford truck hit the passenger side of the Pontiac. All occupants of both vehicles were injured in the crash.

The 34-year-old woman, who was the front passenger of the Pontiac, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The two occupants of the truck were hospitalized and are listed in stable condition.

Highway 65 southbound was closed at Anoka County Road 22 following the crash. 

At this point, names of the victims have not been released.

Authorities are investigating the crash.
