(ABC 6 NEWS) -- An early morning shooting Sunday in Kossuth County turned into a manhunt and the eventual arrest of the suspected shooter.

25 year old Andrew Zeitler was arrested after a ground and air search near Corwith, Iowa.

Investigators say the shooting happened at 309 East Street in Wesley shortly after 4 a.m. Sunday.

Residents who lived near the shooting scene say as many as 5 gunshots could be heard.

Dustin David Kiefer, age 25, was later identified as the victim.

Law enforcement located Zeitler at around 7 a.m. in the nearby town of Corwith, but he ran from the scene.
