A Texas man is charged with First Degree drug possession after being pulled over on I-35 in Freeborn County.

Francisco Molina, a 35 year old from Tyler, Texas was stopped by State Troopers on July 24th for car windows that were tinted too dark under Minnesota State law.

Authorities then decided to search Molina's vehicle after finding out the car wasn't his and it had only recently been insured.

After taking the vehicle to a Minn DOT shop, troopers found 21 packages of meth stashed in hidden compartments in the vehicle's body.

The possession charges for meth in this case could max out at 30 years with a fine of $1,000,000.

Molina remains in the Freeborn County jail on $200,000 bail.
