(ABC 6 NEWS) -- A benefit is scheduled for Saturday evening in Rochester to help ABC 6 News Anchor Laura Lee's family with mounting medical bills.

Laura's husband Abe was involved in a serious motorcycle accident this summer. He suffered multiple broken bones and a traumatic brain injury. Abe is recovering, but it is a long and expensive journey.

The ABC 6 News Team is hosting a benefit Saturday night at the Elks Lodge in Rochester. It is from 5:00 - 9:00 with food, LIVE music, and a comedian. There will also be a photo booth, and silent auction and raffle items.

We are asking for a $20 suggested donation, with children 12 and under free. That said, any donation is greatly appreciated.

The community support following the accident has been overwhelming. We'd like to thank the following businesses, individuals, and organizations for helping us with the benefit.
