Rochester Area Businesses Hit By Burglaries

Several thousand dollars was stolen from area businesses in a string of burglaries over the past few days.

Sometime between the 17th and the 19th an Arctic Cat Prowler was stolen from St. Joseph Equipment in Eyota. The Prowler is estimated to be worth more than $14,000 dollars. A $2,000 dollar trailer was stolen at the same time.

Rochester police say someone broke into the Stadium Club restaurant sometime between the 14th and 15th and stole a cash register. It’s estimated that about $200 dollars in cash was in the register at the time. The thieves entered the businesses by breaking a window.

The Dollar Tree in Rochester was also victim to a burglary. According to Rochester police someone stole more than $3,000 dollars out of the stores safe sometime between the 18th and 19th.  There were no signs of forced entry. Police believe it may have been a former or current employee.

There are no suspects in the other two incidents.
