(ABC 6 News) - The heat may be to blame for the death of a 66-year-old Stewartville man.
According to The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Department the man died Thursday night after a day of working in his yard. The man’s wife told deputies he had been working in the yard when he called her saying he was confused and lost.
When she arrived home he was inside, but not feeling well. The wife went outside briefly and when she came back in he was laying on the ground with aggravated breathing.
The sheriff’s department says Mayo one was called, but the man died before it arrived.
The death is not being investigated as suspicious. The man was also taking several prescription medications. It’s believed the combination of the drugs with the heat lead to his death.
