(ABC 6 NEWS) -- A victim in one of Thursday’s motorcycle accident has died.

According to Rochester Police Aaron Eckblad of Rochester died when his motorcycle crashed into a truck near T.J. Maxx in Rochester around 4 o’clock.

Eckblad was taken to St. Marys, but died upon arrival. Police say the driver of the truck had been trying to navigate the construction cones in the area, when he made a turn from the wrong lane. Trying to avoid the truck Eckblad on his motorcycle slid out and into the truck.

The mapping unit was called out to investigate. At this time it’s unclear if the truck rolled over Eckblad during the crash. He was wearing a helmet.

The victim of a motorcycle accident earlier that day is still in critical condition. Michael Claffy was injured on his motorcycle when he collided with a car on Valley High Drive N.W. just after 1 o’clock in the afternoon.

Claffy hit another vehicle that was trying to make a U-turn. He was taken to St. Marys for serious injuries. He was not wearing a helmet.
