Austin Man Arrested in Rochester for Possession of Fully Automatic AK-47

(ABC 6 News) - Rochester Police say they arrested an Austin man on several charges, including possession of fully automatic AK-47.

Police were called after someone allegedly overheard the driver of a black Lincoln Navigator threaten to "take care of business" in regards to people that owe him money.

The report came in on Wednesday, September 18th, around 10:30 pm, near The Gates of Rochester apartment complex.

Police found the vehicle about an hour later. They say the driver, Kyle Williams, was on probation. They say the also found the AK-47, a handgun, 2 grams of methamphetamine and cash inside the Navigator.

Williams was arrested on charges of possession of a machine gun, possession of a handgun, terroristic threats and possession of a controlled substance.
