MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Minnesota will have coach Jerry Kill back on the sideline for Saturday's game against San Jose State.
It will be just another game, even if it comes a week after he missed the second half against Western Illinois after suffering an epileptic seizure. The head coach and his players have said all week that Kill's health issues are nothing to worry about.
Kill has missed a portion of a game in each of his first three seasons at Minnesota due to seizures. It's happened often enough now that his players and assistants know how to handle his absence.
Defensive back Brock Vereen says the Gophers (3-0) have been focused solely on San Jose State (1-1).
