Police say an 11-year-old boy lost part of his big toe while playing on a moving train in Northeast Minneapolis Saturday night.
The incident happened around 6 p.m. at Fillmore Street Northeast and 13th Avenue Northeast. It was originally reported that the boy and his brother were "train jumping," but police say that is not accurate.
Police say the boy's foot got caught but he was able to walk away and call for help, according to police. He was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center to be checked out.
