MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Kevin Love showed up for the start of Minnesota Timberwolves training camp eager to put last season behind him, and it's hard to blame him.
Love played in only 18 games last season because of a right hand that was broken twice and a minor knee injury. Some fans turned on him as well, so Love threw himself into a rigorous training regimen this summer and comes back with something to prove.
Love showed up with a chiseled frame and ready to reclaim his spot as the league's best power forward.
Coach Rick Adelman is back as well after a summer of uncertainty surrounding the health of his wife. Adelman says his wife is doing well and he's ready to get back to work.
