WALCOTT, Iowa (AP) - Authorities say an inmate who escaped from Iowa work release in February has been found in Ohio.
Authorities say Roger Clayton was stopped Thursday morning in Preble County, Ohio, for a broken taillight on his vehicle.
The 36-year-old Clayton left his job on Feb. 1 and didn't return to the Davenport Residential Re-entry Center.
Clayton was sentenced in 2006 to 20 years in prison for charges including intimidation with a dangerous weapon. He was released to a halfway house in February 2012 but was returned to prison in April after an escape attempt. He was assigned to the Davenport center in December.
