(ABC 6 News) -- Young singer/songwriter Kalisa Ewing will host 3 concerts in Southeast Minnesota over the next 3 days. The first is being held Saturday night at Austin High School.
The young artist has performed at the Grand Ole Opry. She’s also had cuts from her songs used by Kellie Clarkson and Kellie Pickler.
“I always wrote poetry as a kid for no real reason at all. I just always liked writing down my thoughts and trying to make them rhyme,” said Ewing, who grew up just outside of Nashville, TN.
She will play Sunday night at the Mayo Civic Center in Rochester, followed by a concert at the Potter Auditorium Monday night in Chatfield.
